Friendship the Beautiful Jewel of Life

A friend is the beautiful Jewel of life.Reach out your hand to your neighbor, let them into your heart.A heart has no boundaries, no limits; a heart has an endless capacity to love. A heart knows no color, nor religion or country. A heart only knows what it knows(love). We have the choice to love or to hate, I choose LOVE. Hate brings only pain & sorrow.Hate brings destruction, and chaos; With love comes hope, with hope comes beauty.Yes I agree Friendship is magical, where there is friendship there is POTENTIAL and that is what the world needs right now!

A Great person who gave such inspiration to so many

I came across this link to a web site of one of the first people to ever inspire me, not just because he was so good at his art; but because of his convictions. In his short lifetime he became a legend, & an inspiration to so many people.

Bruce Lee became a hero not only to his own nation, but touched the hearts of people all over the world. This man paved the way for so many great people in the Martial Arts entertainment field.

People should know that Bruce was a very educated man,who loved life; he majored in philosophy, and this he tried to share along with his vision of the Martial Arts. This inspired me first and foremost even before the Martial Arts did.

I came across this link to a web site that is very informative about his life and his beliefs.
I thought it would be a good thing to share it.

I am sure you will find it as interesting as I did.

Tricycle Daily Dharma

The Core of Practice

“The core of Buddhist practice is the transformation of suffering (dukkha) and its roots into wisdom and compassion. As the Buddha pointed out, we all experience physical and emotional pain. We all get sick, lose people we love, and each of us will die. Our practice is not to try to get rid of this pain, which would be impossible. Rather, it is to avoid constricting around our pain, or blaming ourselves or others for it, or lashing out when we feel attacked—somehow believing that by so doing we will get rid of or resolve the initial hurt.

This cycle of reactivity is called suffering. The task of our practice is to transform such reactivity and the greed, hatred, and delusion that fuel it. It is to realize that it is possible to experience pain without suffering, without passing on the pain to ourselves or others.”

My response to a friends, response to my blog

Hello my friend, I am glad my blog remind you of your friend and that book. These statements are all very true.As we journey through this reality we call life, many doors or paths are presented to us,each one is an opportunity to grow in a direction toward what may be our destiny. Some doors lead us further away from what we feel is our desired destiny, but you made the decision for what ever reason to follow that path. When this happens It may feel like you made a wrong decision, but every thing happens for a reason. This path may seem to take you further from what you feel is supposed to be your destiny, In reality this path you chose sent you in a direction you were supposed to go so that you can meet the people, or end up in a place you are supposed to be to learn a valuable life lesson. walking this path or through the door your friend describes, actually will lead us in the circle of life we are meant to go. To keep walking the path you chose my take a lot of courage, but if we keep advancing along the path, other paths will be presented to us.You may just find that you come full circle to the place or destiny you had desired for your self. Each path allows us to meet people we were meant to influence, or we were supposed to be influenced by. Each life lesson we learn only makes us stronger, even if it does not feels so at the time. In the end the destiny you find at the end may not exactly be the one you wanted, but it will be the one you are supposed to arrive at.You may in the end be very pleasantly surprised that you actually helped a lot of people along the way just by the example of your convictions and your life model. Believe me someone is always watching, even though we may not see it,and the way we lead our life may influence them to greatness; if we believe in our convictions and Ideals and live by them.We can be instrumental in helping other people to choose their right path to the right life lessons that will bring them where they are meant to be, and sometimes that path will bring them out of the darkness of despair and in to the light of enlightenment. We all make a difference, even if it is not always apparent. Your friend, Terri Dragonfriend

We grow as we live

Time to Grow. Sometimes you have to read between the lines, or you will miss valuable insight to the answer to your question. There is so much to learn on our journey, it is time to grow. Looking between the lines is another way of saying. That the words may seem to have one meaning, when in reality if you look with both emotional intent as well as just the words of a message. You can see the totality of what was intent. Words to one person may have one meaning where as to another the words do not count; only the intent behind the words. Look with your heart as well as your mind. Or you may be missing a valuable insight. Things are not always as they seem. We all have a different way of looking at things. That is what makes us special and that is a good thing. Or life would be so boring. For instance, if you only look at the surface of the ocean you see a lot of water, it is only when we look underneath that we see all that wonderful variety of life. We are all more than the surface that we present to other people.

Our Growth and how we deal

I read This and Felt the inspiration to pass it on:

Growth comes from learning and acceptance.Growth does not have a need for"Wrong"and "Right" as these polarities Keep us blind folded.Growth comes from just dealing with what is an moving forward.

Rather than limit our perceptions, let us look at each situation from all sides.
Try to understand the other side, even if it is difficult.
